THE NZ Sports Car Tour BLOG - by Carole Lester (Owner/Director)

AUGUST 2020

"We've  been running our flag ship company, South Pacific Motorcycle Tours, extremely successfully since 2003. NZ Sports Car Tours has recently been bourne from an idea due to the COVID-19 virus that saw our borders close in March 2020.  We needed to find a way to continue business, and as all of our lovely motorcycle clients are from overseas we had to think of a way to attract the locals.  Our expert tour planning and fabulous itineraries are coveted the world over by motorcyclists visiting us from overeas, so we thought, why not make these available to the locals on four wheels! Hence NZ Sports Car Tours was born.  We've got a great team together ensure our high quality services and products remain just as good.  The great thing too is that our products and services are available for overseas visitors once the international borders re-open. We look forward to providing you with the Drive of your Life here in beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand"  - Carole Lester, Director

Travel rules for New Zealand
In October 2019 The New Zealand Government introduced a new travel requirement for some visitors and transit passengers. It’s called the NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) and travellers need to request theirs via the official mobile app or website. Approval can take up to 72 hours, so get yours before you go.

Visit immigration.govt.nz/nzeta to find out if you need one.
